AHCCCS
Acute Care Program
for the Elderly & Physically Disabled
The AHCCCS program provides medical assistance to those who are age 65 or older OR who have already been determined disabled or blind through the Social Security Administration. Medical assistance may include payment of a member's Medicare Part B premium, annual deductibles, and co-insurance, and acute care medical services through an AHCCCS health plan. Members may qualify for this program if they meet non-financial guidelines and income guidelines.
An applicant may be eligible if the total gross monthly income (after a $20 disregard) is less than $903 (for a single person) or less than $1215 for a married couple.
